Breast cancer (medical abbreviation: Mum Ca) is the most common cancer among women in Germany. Possible causes include a high-fat diet, smoking, excessive alcohol consumption and obesity, but also a high mammographic density. The sooner Breast cancer is discovered, the better the chances of recovery. But unfortunately not all breast cancer and surgery can be prevented. However, only a few patients have to have the entire breast removed (Masectomy). Often times the breast can be at least partially preserved. But also one breast-conserving surgery can significantly change the appearance of those affected.

It makes sense to advise and care for patients directly in the hospital after the procedure so that they can get back to life quickly.
